When people throw trash on the roads or garbage in the streets, our land becomes dirty we then say that the land is polluted, when oil from ships and waste from factories are dropped into the rivers or seas, we say that the water is polluted. Similarly, when loud, noise is heard again and again or smoke from chimneys of house and cars enter the air, we say that the air is noisy and polluted. We need air, a clean place to live in, pure air to breathe and filtered water to drink. We must take steps not to pollute our environment. We must also take steps that help us to avoid pollution of land, water and air. Some easy ways to avoid pollution are to throw our waste in a dustbin, make longer chimneys and use vehicles which do not give out harmful smoke. We must grow more trees to purify the air that we breathe.
